Visit. Discover. Unwind.

Culver and Lake Maxinkuckee have been drawing visitors since the late 1800's, with the arrival of the railroad to the second largest natural inland lake in Indiana that spans over 1,800 acres. Combining the friendly charm of a small Midwestern town, the beauty and aura of a lake resort community, and the diversity and sophistication of a collegial community, it's easy to see why Culver has been called "the Cape Cod of the Midwest." The area offers a variety of overnight lodging, including resort accommodations, condos, B&B's, and other properties for rent. Unique shopping, dining, and special events can be enjoyed year-round. We can’t wait for you to #FindCulver!

Culver Wine Fair Update:

From the Events Team at the Culver & Lake Maxinkuckee Visitor Center:

After careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Culver Wine Fair. We know how much many of you look forward to gathering lakeside to sample regional wines, enjoy live music, and celebrate our community. This was not an easy call, and we truly appreciate your understanding.

Our team is already exploring ways to bring the Wine Fair back stronger in the future. In the meantime, we hope you’ll continue to enjoy all that Culver has to offer, and attend our upcoming Fall Fest on October 25th.

Thank you for your continued enthusiasm for Culver events and for the kindness you show our volunteers, vendors, and neighbors. We’re grateful for this community—and we can’t wait to raise a glass together soon.
