The Culver Farmers’ Market takes place year-round with locally grafted goods! The outdoor market is located at the Culver Park during the summer and fall. The indoor market takes place at the Culver & Union Township Public Library in the winter.

When you arrive–park the car–you won’t need it for these excursions! For you half day in Culver, you choose how to get around: walk, bike or rent a golf cart from Ringers GolfCarts (corner of Academy Rd. and Lakeshore Dr.).
Getting Around: Stroll or bike along the town’s quiet streets and along the designated pedestrian/bike trail that connects the town of Culver with Culver Academies. Feeling more adventurous? There is a lovely 10.5 mile loop around Lake Maxinkuckee. Click Here for a map of the route around the lake!
Breakfast (and maybe lunch): Arriving in the morning and looking for breakfast? Saturdays in the summer, the Lion’s Club serves Grab and Go at the Depot (at the west end of the Town Park) and year-around, check out Culver Coffee Company across the street; Café Max–downtown on Main Street; or Freida’s on Stat Road 10.
Culver Farmers’ Market: On Saturdays, be sure to check out the Culver Farmers’ Market outdoors May-Oct at the Town Park (9 am-1 pm) or during the winter on Saturdays at the Culver & Union Township Public Library located downtown Main Street (10 am-1 pm).
Culver Academies Campus: Don’t forget to walk or bike through the beautiful and historic Culver Academies Campus which is open to visitors.

Some of the other breakfast dining options above are also open afternoons and evenings.
After your four hours in Culver, you’ll be ready to plan your return trip and a longer stay!

Sitting quietly on the West side of town you will find Culver Community Schools. With a small population, this school has a big heart and a lot of fun activities for anyone. In the Fall you can take in a high school football game, volleyball game or soccer. Here in the winter and not sure what to do? Take a basketball game or wrestling match. As the weather gets nicer we also offer softball and baseball games and our annual community event: Sports Spectacular. A great place to visit for any sports fanatic. If sports aren't your thing you can take in a theatre production or music program. Take a stroll between Culver Community Middle/High School and Culver Elementary School and enjoy the beautiful views of the flowering trees in the Spring or Fall colors that are out of this world. If you have kids with you, be sure to stop by Cavalier park where they can let out some energy on the zipline or climb the structures to their heart's content. Hop on the walking trail that surrounds the park and take in more beautiful views of the landscape. If you get hungry we have some amazing restaurants nearby whether you are in the mood for a quick sandwich and coffee at the Culver Coffee Company, Mexican at Fridas, Italian at Lucrezia, American Classics at The Lakehouse Bar and Grille or Cafe Max, Pizza from Bourbon Street or Papas, or even just a hotdog, hamburger and some delicious ice cream from the Original Rootbeer Stand. While you are exploring the town be sure to stop downtown and visit all the shops for some new fashion, fresh flowers or home decor. No matter what the season, you will want to revisit over and over.
The Culver Cavaliers have endless sport and recreation activities for the local youth. A small town with a big (and competitive) heart!
Cavalier Park is located on School Street, right across the street from the Culver Community High School. This park features natural and creative play structures, open soccer fields, and a yellow stone walking trail around the perimeter.
